This Thing Called Jazz

Come inside to Duke's Place

An historical foray through the meandering currents of 20th century Jazz. Starting in 1920's New Orleans and winding it's way up the Mississippi and across the plains of the Great Migration.

Chicago, Saint Louis, Kansas City, New York, L.A. Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgeralde... these are just a few of the places and faces which helped shape the Great American Art Form - Jazz.
