The fall-winter U.S. tour 2019 started off on a cozy rainy night in Madison, Wisconsin with a warm reception at Café Coda under the auspices of owner Hanah Jon Taylor and the help of my dear friend Susan Fox.
Bright Moments
As part of their "Bright Moments" Friday Night Happy Hour series - Hanah hooked me up with local musicians Michael Butkus-Bomier (piano) and Francis Deck (bass) who did not disappoint!
Quality professionals who made it a pleasure to make music. 💜🎶

Old Friends
On a personal note, I was just thrilled to bits that my old high school chum, Trey Korte, made the trip from Milwaukee to reconnect after an unmentionable number of years. So extra special to have an old friend in the audience for my first trip to Madison.
New Friends
Bonus! It was also lovely to make acquaintance and have a listen to my fellow Francophile Janet Evra and her band from Saint Louis. Looking forward to collaborating with them again on a future visit!
