Hastings, Nebraska — We're half-way through a week of Jazz making with area youth!
Fulfilling my mission
So grateful for the support of the Nebraska Arts Council and the Hastings Public Schools Foundation with a little help from Kiwanis. Thanks to their support, we can add several hundred more to the list of kids around the world who now know the names of Edward Kennedy "Duke" Ellington, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald!
We still have several more days till the big concert - but here are some shots from rehearsals, performances, and classes so far :-)
And as always - special thanks to the folks at Hastings Public Schools - namely Tom Michalek, Connor Zimmer, and Rick Matticks for making it all happen!
