I was so excited to get a message just a few weeks ago from my friend Chef Andrew Wigger! I met Chef Wigger's wife Jessica through a meetup while they were both based in Paris a few years back and he was chef-ing for "Frame" the concept restaurant at the Pullman Hotels.
He now works for "Artisan" the Restaurant at the Delamar Hotel in Traverse City
I'm tickled rose (as in "la vie en" ) that
he thought of me first when programming his French Themed "Vendange Fête" this month!
I was able to juggle my calendar to make it happen (thanks, Bobby Fuson!)
the only qualified guitarist I know in Michigan happened to be available
said guitarist, the marvelous Matt Lorusso was not only available, but willing to make the trek up state for a one-nighter!
Que la fête commence... avec VOUS!
