origins:

Paris-based American singer and actress, Margeaux Lampley left the US and a law career to live the artist’s life in Paris… studying jazz and in no time establishing herself as a featured artist and songwriter for various French groups. She has since recorded 3 solo jazz albums (Love For Sale, Rain, A Tribute To Michael Jackson) and numerous collaborations throughout Europe. As part of the duo Sodex, she released two successful singles, including “Move Me”, featured on the soundtrack of French film “De battre mon coeur s’est arrêté” and compilations throughout various parts of the world. She even collaborated with disco legend Edwin Starr on one of his last recordings, "Burns Like Fire", which she co-wrote.

With her warm, intimate style, this artist has been making a name for herself both as a solo jazz artist and as a member of various gospel groups, including The 100 Voices of Gospel, finalists on Britain's Got Talent. Margeaux also proposes educational jazz concerts and workshops for children.

In addition to singing, Margeaux has successfully pursued her passion for acting. She has appeared in French films such as Les Tuches 4 and Aline (Valérie Lemercier) and plays the recurring role of Céline Connor in Seasons 1 & 2 of the British tv series The Madame Blanc Mysteries. You can also spot her in the new season of Emily In Paris, as well as several upcoming film and tv projects.

On the theatre front, Margeaux is part of the cast of  “Maya, Une Voix”, an original stage play which was acclaimed at the Festival d’Avignon 2022 and is currently touring. Her voice can also be heard on numerous animated films (Rabbids Invasion : Mission To Mars, La Vie de Château…), video games, commercials and documentaries.
