Kevin hooked us up with the Maryland Meadworks in the before times (fall of 2019) and we had an amazing turnout of friends and family from around the world.

What the Meadworks says...

Join us for a rare Sunday Afternoon Jazz Concert featuring Paris jazz singer Keri Chryst and local trombone/drum legend Kevin Cerovich.


Chryst and Cerovich have been collaborating since 2011. They met while Cerovich was touring in France with French music legend, Charlelie Couture. The two gave numerous performances together across Paris and continue to work together on music arranging and composition. Each stellar performers in their own right, Chryst and Cerovich have a vibrant connection on stage. Don't miss this one!


Keri's bio:

International performer and educator Keri Chryst currently lives and works in Paris, France – by way of Chicago, IL where she earned her Master’s in Jazz Pedagogy from Northwestern University in 1998. Her spunky in-the-pocket swing, together with an instrumental approach to singing and improvisation, have charmed audiences around the world and fast earned her a reputation as a “musician’s singer.”


Kevin’s Bio:

Kevin Cerovich is a Latin Grammy nominated trombonist originally from Kansas City, Missouri. Since 2013, Cerovich has played jazz trombone with the famed Airmen of Note, The United States Air Force Band, Washington, D.C. Before joining the Air Force, Cerovich was a member of the Charlie Persip Big Band and the National Jazz Museum in Harlem All Stars. His work with Andres Salguero was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2015. Cerovich has also performed with the Michael Dease Big Band, Jay McShann, Elliot Mason, and Kevin Mahogany among others.
